A couple of very important (and long awaited) updates

Once again, we haven't given up (completely) on BYJ. Just when you thought we vanished, we're back and in play again. As of today, we have upgraded our servers to give us much more (and much needed) space (30gb) and ASP.net capabilities. Now we have the ability to share our movie in a higher format than the crummy WMV, and to enhance our website to make it much more interactive. We will have a banner free forum, the ability to add comments to videos and our Random Stuff, and best of all, the crew will not have to go through me (at least not entirely) to post their stuff. Look for a brand new site in the (hopefully) not-so-distant future!

Next, we have news on our constant "in-production" production, BOKKEN: BROTHERS OF THE BLADE. Today, in fact, we are continuing with filming (ok, taping, 'cause DV isn't film) after a 4.5 month pause. We had a wake-up call when we found out that Wayne will be leaving us in less than a month, and we will therefore need to finish his scenes before he departs.

For those who have stood by, even though there hasn't been any sign of improvements (from beyond the curtains), you will soon appreciate the wait.

BYJ News - Finally fixed mail server problems

 Finally got the email servers fixed.  All of the BYJ accounts should now be active.  If you are still noticing any problems, email me at bepler@byjproductions.com, or post a note in the message board to get our attention.

Our "free-time" is now being spent on the completion of BOKKEN: BROTHERS OF THE BLADE. Along with that, there will be a complete revamp of the site which will be using the latest and greatest in ASP.net technology.

Officially established in 2002, Backyard Junk Productions is a private film organization based upon the dreams of five individuals who were not satisfied with the limits of reality.  We strive to break away from our limits, and to prove that we are indeed immortal.
   
         
   
The Story Behind The Name
 
Well, it happened after we had filmed "Guys and Guns."  We were watching it on Bryan's computer and laughing at how we had shot Steve in the junk.  Josh decided to make a narrative of the video (also available for download).  As soon as the video started, the first words out of his mouth were, "From the Backyard Junk Corporation, we bring you... all kinds of crazy crap!!"  He said it just came out without even thinking about it.  We ask you, is it fate?  Or is it just the law of averages that one day Josh's messed up head would produce an idea that would give us a kickass name to use as we make more films?  Either way, we decided that seeing Steve get shot in the junk was one of the funniest things we had ever seen, and that we should do it again sometime.
